you are right, I did not think about that part!  

I never adopt older animal before but what you said, it is a good reference to consider of.

well, they are abandoned animals as well, so i think they should be treated with the same kind of care........but people are naturally attracted to the babies, and not the older animals...if they don't get adopted, they will eventually be euthanized...so sad!!!

this world is too cruel to the animals.....we as the ruling species of the planet need to have more compassion i think.

regarding the "mom" issue, you should take her to the animal shelter and she might starts to like them!  who
knows!  

In taiwan, my friend eyewitnessed a horrified scene, a punch of stray dogs ate a stray cat "alive"!     She
reported this incident to the police and the police said he only cares about "human", not "animal!
